In partnership with University Of Bristol Student Union, and as part of their Black History Month celebrations we present Rafiki.
Romantic sparks fly between the daughters of two opposing politicians in Wanuri Kahiu’s neon-bright story of forbidden love. The first Kenyan film to screen at Cannes, Rafiki follows the story of two teenage girls, Kena and Ziki, whose friendship blossoms into romance.
The film will be followed by a panel discussion with guest speakers including Tanisha Barrett (Off The Record), Lara Lelemi (Bristol SU) and Billy Kahore (UOB).
